Land Camps

We believe something transformative happens from spending time outdoors. Cooking over fire, eating under the stars, syncing with the rhythms of nature, and savouring the bounty of the land…

Our Land Camps offer human beings a moment to better understand where their food comes from.  An authentic farm-to-fork experience, where you can eat, drink, and stay on the very land that feeds you. Immerse yourself in the stories of the farmers, land keepers and artisans behind their produce, while enjoying hands-on opportunities to engage with their practices, understand their methods and feel connected.

Paired with activities led by expert facilitators tapping into the adventure and spirit of the surrounding area, such as wild swimming, hiking, storytelling and star gazing, each weekend culminates in a fire feast, bringing to the table the gifts of the land.

Whether you're looking to deepen your connection with nature or simply indulge in local and seasonal food that feels wholesome and nourishing, our Land Camps invite you to ground yourself, get your hands dirty, lean into something new and put something back into supporting better food systems that honour both people and planet.

    Wendell Barry

  • Awe awakens the better angels of our nature.

  • “The antidote to exhaustion isn’t rest. It’s nature.”

  • “Keep close to Nature’s heart… and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”

    John Muir

  • “Now I see the secret of making the best person, it is to grow in the open air and to eat and sleep with the earth.”

Camp Bloom

July 10th to 13th

in collaboration with

Flow Flowers & Dick Willows Cider Farm

Step into the height of summer with a weekend rooted in the rhythms of the land.

Friday | Landing & Flower Magic
Arrive from 4PM for a gentle sunset landing, greeted with botanical beverages in the Lady Garden. This month, we partner with Flow Flowers (who also grow on the land) to celebrate the splendour of July’s bloom—roses, sweet peas, dahlias and beyond. Take time to meet the flowers, learn their stories, and explore their scents before pressing your favourites to work with over the weekend. Supper will be fragrant and light, before settling into your cosy bell tent for the night.

Saturday | Wild Wellness, Food Gathering & Fire Feasting
Awaken with the larks and begin the day with outdoor yoga and light meditation, followed by a nourishing brunch featuring eggs from the hens and fresh-picked produce. Then we head out to roam—an invigorating 3.5-hour hike through the surrounding countryside, including a stretch along the breathtaking Bath Skyline.

Returning to camp, Dick Willow’s cider will be poured as we salute the sunset once more. Together, we’ll gather and prepare food for the evening's fire feast, where pork reared on the land takes centre stage. The night unfolds around the fire with stories, singing, and stargazing beneath the open sky.

Sunday | Rituals, Cold Water, & Craft
Ease into the day with coffee and a light snack before a mindful walk to nearby Warleigh Weir, just fifteen minutes away. Here, we’ll welcome the day with a bracing plunge and an introduction to contrast therapy to revive body and spirit.

A warming brunch follows, then it’s back to the garden for a final creative offering: where you can choose between crafting your own rose balm, weaving willow, or cleaning the pigs out (!) before bidding farewell with a prayer to the land and gratitude for all it provides.
